How did you become a Christian?
I grew up attending Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville so I remember "being a Christian" for all of my life. But it was not until 11th grade that I surrendered myself to Jesus and asked Him into my heart. It was through friends and mentors of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes that shared with me what it meant to be Christian and how to walk a daily life with Him.
How did you get involved with the band?
Several years ago a small group of us got together to brainstorm about introducing praise music into our church. We gathered a small band and started singing praise music on Wednesday nights. Through that grassroots effort, our church decided that there was a need to open our doors to contemporary worship. This lead us to "seek out" the talent in our church and community. Check out the rest of this website to see the talent that came forward. I feel so blessed to be a part of such a talented group.

Where did you grow up?
Charleston. I’ve lived West Ashley all my life.
How did you become a Christian?
I grew up in a family that went to church maybe once a month if that. It’s always been there, but I really became a Christian when my wife (Christine) and I had our first child (Carter). I really didn’t know my savior until maybe 10 years ago. I was in a car driving to Hilton Head and the only radio station I seemed to be able to get was a Christian radio station. Dr. David Jeremiah was speaking on building a relationship with Jesus Christ. His words through that sermon touched me and the rest is unfolding now.
How did you get involved with the band?
I was originally involved in missions / outreach at John Wesley. We were searching for people to help with a project, and we were having a lot of trouble finding volunteers. I ended up looking at our spiritual gift inventories and became frustrated that I felt people weren’t using their spiritual gifts. I took a look back at mine, and saw that music was on mine, and I had ignored it. A trusted friend had been inviting me to join the choir for months. I basically called myself a hypocrite and joined the choir. I didn’t know I could sing (and I’m sure it is still debatable) until I joined the choir. It changed the way I worshipped. A few year later, Amy Rogers came to me at a church softball game and asked if I was interested in singing praise music in a group. I told her I wasn’t sure if I was the right choice, but I’d give it a try. We started singing on Wednesday night praise sing-alongs as a first step to a contemporary worship service. Since then we have grown a lot in style of music – from camp-style songs to all out Christian Rock.

How did you become a Christian?
I am a lifelong church member raised in a Christian home. I was raised in the methodist church but I spent a lot of time with my grandmother in her pentecostal church. That's where I learned to shout Hallelujah and Amen from the pews and where I learned a lot about what it means to be a Christian in this world. I love my church and I am so blessed to be able worship in this place.
How did you get involved with the band?
When Amy was recruiting for the band, she asked me to play guitar. After she heard me play guitar, she found another guitar player. Then she asked if I could play the drums. When she heard me play the drums, she found another drummer. Next she asked if I could play the bass. I'm glad she doesn't know any other bass players.

I'm an electrical engineer and I enjoy working with the latest technologies and innovations. In my spare time I like to invent things. "There's right and there's right and never the twain shall meet."
"There is no normal life, Wyatt, there's just life, ya live it."
"So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

How did you become a Christian?
My brother and I were always involved with church growing up. Our grandfather and uncle are
Southern Baptist pastors so we were naturally raised in the Baptist church. When I was in 7th grade,
we changed churches and started attending Morningside Baptist Church in Spartanburg. Around
this time my dad went through some very serious health issues which obviously had an impact on
my life. With the changes that were going on in my life, I think my perspective on life matured and
it just hit me that I needed to accept Jesus Christ into my heart. Growing up in church, I always knew
that this was important, I just didn’t make the decision until then...
How did you get involved with the band?
I moved down here after high school to attend the College of Charleston. I was fortunate enough to
have Amy (Dr. Rogers), as a teacher. Somehow we found out that we both were involved with
contemporary worship services in town. I played with East Cooper Baptist Church and Seacoast services
throughout college and she was a part of Reflections service, so we shared a love of contemporary
Christian music. One day, a couple of years ago, she called me into her office and told me that they
might need some help with their band for awhile (their guitar player had quit)... and here I am. I am
very glad that she asked me to help out.
